Meet Our Pastor
Dr. Basil K. Williams
In 1985, Rev. Dr. Basil K. Williams, Sr. was licensed by Bishop William and Yvonne Philpot of Christ Chapel New Testament Church. In 1987, he was ordained to minister by Bishop William Philpot and served as Associate Minister at Christ Chapel from 1987 to 1992. In 1992, he founded the Household of Faith Church in the Bronx, New York.
In 2006, he left the pastorate of the church to provide continuous care for his uncle and became an itinerant minister until 2023 when he founded The Church Family Inc. where he is the current pastor.
During his spiritual pilgrimage, he received his undergraduate degree from Yale University and his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada W.I.. He has held street meetings, seminars, and crusades throughout the U.S. and the Caribbean. His desire is that believers everywhere progressively experience the fullness of life in Christ Jesus as they understand and apply the gospel to their lives. He and his wife, Verona, have been married for 42 years and have five children, two daughters - in - love, and three grandchildren who all serve the Lord Jesus.
